My Approach

The most important foundation for any therapy is one of a safe and trusting relationship. It can be hard talking about mental health challenges and trauma. Privacy and confidentiality are always a top priority.

I use a collaborative approach, working together with my clients to identify areas of need, goals, and tools for creating a more meaningful and healthy life.

Every treatment plan I create is strengths-based and unique to each individuals’ specific needs. I do not believe that one approach works best for everyone, so I use a combination of evidence-based methods and tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure therapy, Solution Focused therapy and Positive Psychology. I love incorporating various forms of art, music, culture and mindfulness.

Currently all sessions are held through a secure video platform due to the safety concerns of Covid-19
